Bagh-e-Naran

Bagh-e-Naran is a public park in Hayatabad featuring wide open green spaces, connected walking paths, and landscaped sections with mountains visible in the distance. The grounds include benches, water fountains, children's play areas, and parking facilities distributed throughout.

The park developed during Hayatabad's planned growth in the late 20th century as part of Peshawar's urban expansion strategy. This marked a turning point in creating modern green spaces within a rapidly growing city.

The garden reflects traditional Pakistani aesthetics with geometric patterns and gathering spaces where families and neighbors meet throughout the year. These areas serve as natural venues for picnics and local celebrations.

The park is accessible from early morning until evening with wide, level paths that are easy to walk on. Visitors should note that daytime sun can be intense, so bringing shade and drinking water is helpful.

An artificial waterfall in the park drops roughly 5 meters, creating a refreshing mist that visitors especially appreciate on warm days. A small bridge crosses over the water basins, allowing people to experience the feature up close.
