Ali Baig Azad Kashmir

Ali Baig is a rural settlement in Bhimber District, Azad Kashmir, situated along the Upper Jhelum Canal. The area is defined by agricultural fields where farmers grow wheat, maize, barley, and sugarcane.

The settlement was originally known as Kirtan Ghar and contained a Sikh gurudwara and Khalsa Middle School managed by Sant Baba Sunder Singh Ji before 1947. These religious and educational structures were part of the region's pre-partition history.

The inhabitants speak Pothwari as their native language and maintain traditional farming methods passed through generations. These practices shape daily life and the community's connection to the land.
