Bardonecchia Alpine Coaster

The Bardonecchia Alpine Coaster is a two-seater sled ride through the woods of Campo Smith. The track stretches over 1000 meters downhill with curves, bumps, and turns that create an enjoyable descent through the forest.

The Bardonecchia Alpine Coaster was built in recent years as part of the region's expansion of summer activities. It was created to give visitors a new way to experience the mountain landscape during warmer seasons.

The ride carries the name of Campo Smith, the starting location in the local area. Visitors see it as a simple family activity that fits into the mountain leisure culture of the region during the warmer months.

Children from age four can ride, but those under eight need an adult at least 12 years old to accompany them. The adult sits in the rear and controls speed with a brake lever.

The coaster can be used in summer as well as winter, which is unusual and gives visitors a different way to experience the mountains during warmer months. This makes it a rare activity for mountain visits in the area when other outdoor options are available.
