Radio Campus Paris, Media studio and recording facility in the 3rd arrondissement, Paris, France
Radio Campus Paris is a media studio and recording facility on Rue des Tournelles in the Marais district of Paris, in the 3rd arrondissement. It broadcasts every day on FM 93.9, DAB+, and online, producing over 110 hours of programming each week from two professional studios.
Radio Campus Paris was founded in 1998 by three students from the École des Mines de Paris, who started broadcasting from a university room. In 2003 the studios moved to the Maison des initiatives étudiantes, and in 2004 the station received an FM license from the French broadcasting authority.
Radio Campus Paris brings together students and volunteers from across the Paris region who want to learn how to make radio. Around 400 people join each year to host shows, operate equipment, and produce content, turning the station into a hands-on training ground.
The station is on Rue des Tournelles in the Marais and is open most days except Sunday. Programs are also available online around the clock, which makes it easy to tune in before or after a visit to the area.
Radio Campus Paris is part of the Radio Campus France network, which connects about thirty similar stations across the country. To mark its 25th anniversary in 2022, the station organized twenty-five separate events around Paris, one for each year on air.
