Sommet du Lever du Soleil is a hiking trail on Bukit Serdang hill in Seri Kembangan, Malaysia. The path winds through tree cover and leads to a small clearing at the top with an open view over the surrounding land.
The land around Bukit Serdang was shaped by rubber plantation activity, traces of which remain visible today in the form of old rubber tree stumps and weathered collection buckets found along the trail. Over time, the hill was adopted by the local community as a green retreat close to town.
Many visitors arrive early in the morning to catch the sunrise from the top, which is the main reason the trail got its name. Along the way, small shrines with statues appear between the trees, and near the dog shelter area it is common to hear Buddhist chants playing softly.
The trailhead can be found by searching for Bukit Serdang Trailhead, and the road leading there is narrow with a parking area past a small bridge. The entrance has a height-restricted barrier, so taller vehicles should be left outside and the short remaining distance covered on foot.
Although the main route to the top takes roughly 15 minutes, the hill actually has a network of branching paths leading to other peaks, a stone bridge, a water pond with wooden walkways, and a dog shelter that the local community actively maintains. A community group manages a detailed map of these routes and organizes regular cleanups, since the area sees less foot traffic than nearby hills like Bukit Gasing.
