Amber Swing Ambuluwawa, Tourist attraction in Gampola, Sri Lanka
Amber Swing Ambuluwawa is a swing attraction set on a forested hillside near Gampola, Sri Lanka. It is positioned at a height that allows riders to swing out over the treetops with open views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
The swing was added as a newer attraction to the Ambuluwawa area, which has long been known for its hilltop tower and forest trails. It was developed to offer a more active outdoor experience alongside the existing tower and nature paths.
The swing is operated by a local team and is generally open from morning to late afternoon on most days. It sits close to the Ambuluwawa Tower, making it easy to combine both stops in a single visit.
The swing is run by a team called Flying Ravana, a name taken from a figure in the ancient Ramayana epic who is deeply rooted in Sri Lankan tradition. Both single and couple options are available, and visitors can also pose with flower headbands for photos.
