Stardust Racers, Steel roller coaster in Orlando, United States
Stardust Racers is a dual-track steel roller coaster located within Celestial Park at Universal Epic Universe in Orlando, Florida. The ride has two interlocking courses, one painted yellow and the other green, each with tall copper supports and trains that carry twenty riders through multiple launches and a twisting inverted section high above the ground.
Universal Orlando first shared details of the attraction under the name Starfall Racers in January 2024, but a trademark dispute led to the name Stardust Racers in May of that year. The coaster opened with Epic Universe on May 22, 2025, after several years of phased construction by the German manufacturer Mack Rides.
The queue area is styled as a launch point built by the Celestians, the imagined residents of Celestial Park, with cosmic decorations and circular patterns leading toward the boarding platform. Visitors choose between the yellow Photon track and the green Pulsar track, which gives each ride a slightly different feeling while both trains race side by side.
Riders must be at least 48 inches tall, and a child swap option lets adults take turns while younger children wait. Lockers are placed about halfway through the queue, so it makes sense to store bags and loose objects before reaching the boarding area.
A flux capacitor from the Back to the Future film series is mounted on the rear of each train, suggesting that the character Dr. Emmett Brown helped stabilize the comets for racing. At night the trains glow with onboard lights while the track remains dark, making the moving cars look like streaks of light crossing the park.
