National House in Prostějov

The National House is an Art Nouveau building in Prostějov featuring a theatre hall with 513 seats, lecture rooms, a restaurant, and multiple community spaces. These rooms accommodate various cultural and social events under one roof.

Jan Kotěra designed this building, which opened on December 1, 1907, following construction supervised by builder Otakar Pokorný. It was built as a symbol of Czech national pride during a time of major cultural transformation in Bohemia.
