Muzeum Těšínska, Regional museum in Český Těšín, Czech Republic
The museum spans across twelve regional branches and exhibition spaces, displaying collections that reflect the heritage of Těšín Silesia region.
Founded in 1948 by teacher Ladislav Báča, this institution has collected and preserved objects from the Těšín region for more than seven decades.
The museum maintains a substantial collection of regional costumes and silver jewelry, representing traditional craftsmanship from northern Moravia.
Visitors can explore the exhibitions from Tuesday to Sunday between 9:00 and 17:00, with guided tours available upon request.
The museum houses the original Těrlicko Madonna, a Gothic painting from the 15th century, within its permanent exhibition about Těšín Silesia.
