Váňův kámen, Limestone cliff natural monument in Kopřivnice, Czech Republic.
The isolated rock formation rises 15 meters high on the southeastern slope of Bílá hora mountain at an elevation of 420 meters above sea level.
In 1695, the rock served as a gathering point for one of northern Moravia's largest peasant uprisings, where serfs assembled to negotiate with the lordship.
Archaeological excavations in 1879 by Karel Jaroslav Maška revealed flint knives and bronze pins, indicating early human settlements in the area.
The natural monument spans 0.77 hectares and features 11 climbing routes, with access available through marked trails from the town of Kopřivnice.
The rock formation changed its name from Devil's Stone to Váňův kámen after a local farmer named Jan Hrčka Váňa who owned the surrounding land.
