Babí Lom

Babí Lom is a rocky ridge in the Drahanská Vysočina region that rises between the villages of Lelekovice and Svinošice. The landscape here is marked by exposed stone and low vegetation adapted to the hilltop and steep slopes.

Babí Lom formed during the Devonian period hundreds of millions of years ago through geological processes that created its distinctive rock formations. These ancient stones shape its appearance and structure to this day.

The nature reserve of Babí Lom represents the environmental heritage of South Moravia through its protected status and ecological preservation efforts.
