DOX - Centre for contemporary art

DOX is a contemporary art museum housed in a converted industrial building in the Holešovice district, featuring multiple exhibition spaces for modern artworks and installations. The spaces are generously proportioned to accommodate large-scale artistic works and immersive presentations.

The site was originally a metal factory that was converted into an art institution in the early 2000s. This transformation helped revitalize the formerly industrial area into a cultural hub.

The center presents exhibitions addressing current social issues, technology, and environmental concerns through various artistic approaches. International artists and local creators shape the program with their perspectives on contemporary life.

The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 to 18:00 and offers reduced admission for students. The exhibitions are accessible across multiple levels of the building.

A large airship structure named Gulliver sits on the rooftop, serving as an architectural feature and additional exhibition space. This unusual element makes the building recognizable from afar and offers visitors an unexpected vantage point.
