Kolovratský palác, Baroque palace in Malá Strana, Czech Republic.
Kolovratský Palace is a baroque palace in Malá Strana with a two-story structure and an eleven-axis facade. This features alternating triangular and segmental arches decorated with stone frames and ornamental details.
The palace was built in the second half of the 18th century for Countess Marie Barbara Cerníns of Chudenice. Architect Johann Ignaz Palliardi designed the building following baroque principles.
The interior features rococo decorations that shape the character of the rooms. Today the building serves as an institutional seat while maintaining its original artistic finishes.
The building is located at Valdštejnská 10 in Prague 1 and can be viewed from outside. Interior access depends on current opening hours since the building is used by institutions.
Behind the palace lies the Kolovrat Garden, a sheltered spot with historic pathways. This garden connects to the larger Palace Gardens complex below Prague Castle.
