Kulturní dům Barikádníků was built in 1945–1946 by participants of the Prague Uprising from Prague 10, working on a self-help basis as a provisional cultural facility. Before 1989 it hosted concerts by music groups outside the official culture. Today it holds public concerts and closed cultural, social and political events.

Locals call the building "Barča". It is a contributory organisation founded by Prague 10 district, and the Prague Chamber Orchestra keeps its home rehearsal room here. Public concerts and closed cultural, social or political events take place in it.
