Slavětínská rozhledna, Observation tower in Radvanice, Czech Republic
The steel and wood tower reaches 23 meters in height, featuring a central column with a spiral staircase and four wooden corner columns made of Douglas fir.
The tower, completed in 2014, emerged from a regional development initiative by Lesy České republiky to enhance tourism infrastructure in the Jestřebí Mountains region.
The tower integrates local craftsmanship through its wooden sculpture of a sitting hawk at the top of the central steel column and sandstone commemorative stone.
Visitors can reach the tower via green-marked tourist paths from Petříkovice railway station or through forest roads from the villages of Bezděkov, Slavětín, and Markoušovice.
From the 18-meter viewing platform, observers can see the Krkonoš mountains, including Sněžka peak, wind turbines in Zlatá Olešnice, and military fortification remnants.
