The Church of Saint Anne in Boží Dar is a late-Baroque building of 1771, designed by Prague architect Philipp Heger. Its rectangular nave has rounded corners, a choir to the east, a sacristy in the corner and a square west tower with a pyramidal helm. The rubble-stone walls carry hipped metal-clad roofs; the portal keystone reads 1771.

A wooden early Renaissance church, probably from the 1530s, came first; a stone late Renaissance church replaced it in 1593, and its three bells by Hans Wildt and a 1612 tin font by Leonhard Dürr survive. After a mid-18th-century fire, the present late Baroque church was built in 1771 to plans by Philipp Heger.

The church is dedicated to Saint Anne, and its bells date from 1594, cast by Joachimsthal bell-founder Hans Wildt; they were moved into the 1771 building and are still rung. A tin baptismal font made in 1612 by Leonhard Dürr also survives inside.

The church stands at about 1020 m in the centre of Boží Dar, the highest church in the Ore Mountains. The stone portal bears the carved year 1771. The building passed into the town's ownership on 1 January 2013, so opening times depend on the municipal administration rather than a parish.

At about 1020 m, it is the highest church in the Ore Mountains and, since Boží Dar holds town rights, one of the highest town churches in Central Europe. Its tin baptismal font, made in 1612 by Joachimsthal caster Leonhard Dürr, survives from the predecessor church.
