Ferry Pražská tržnice - Rohanský ostrov, River transport connection in Holešovice district, Prague, Czech Republic

The ferry ran between the Pražská tržnice market, Štvanice island and Rohanský ostrov in Karlín, crossing the Vltava with a stop on the island. Its catamaran HolKa, named from Holešovice and Karlín, had a 40 cm draft to pass the shallow rocky arm under the Helmovský jez.

The P7 ferry of Prague Integrated Transport, coded as line 697, ran from 7 August 2015 until 28 July 2023, when the Štvanice footbridge replaced it. The Prague Steamboat Company operated it, becoming the third permanent boat carrier in the PID system. It crossed the Vltava with a stop on Štvanice island.

The ferry connected a historic market area with modern neighborhoods across the river, becoming part of how residents moved through the city on their daily routines.

The ferry accepted standard Prague public transport tickets for boarding. Passengers used their regular city transport passes without needing separate fares for this river crossing.

The boat was named HolKa, an acronym of Holešovice and Karlín chosen in a public naming contest; the winner, Martin Tomáš, was invited to the official launch. In its first month the ferry carried 6,965 passengers and 1,015 dogs, making it Prague's busiest ferry for dogs.
