The 13-meter steel tower stands within the ruins of Lichnice Castle, featuring a spiral wooden staircase leading to an elevated viewing platform.
The tower, constructed in 2017, rises from the remnants of a 13th-century castle built by Smil Světlický of Lichtenberg at 480 meters above sea level.
The structure holds the name Milada and belongs to a collection of numbered observation towers across Eastern Bohemia, representing regional architectural development.
Visitors can access the tower from Tuesday to Sunday between May and September, with weekend-only openings in April and October, for 30 CZK per person.
The metal components of the tower incorporate a matte finish to prevent sunlight reflection, while offering views toward Kolín, Kutná Hora, and mountain peaks.
