Čiperova vila

Čiperova vila is a two-story residence in Zlín with a rectangular shape and two wings. The interior features a marble-clad hall and a three-armed curved staircase that connects the upper floors.

Architect Vladimír Karfík designed the house between 1939 and 1942 for businessman Dominik Čipera. The residence embodied modern architectural trends of that period and was later recognized as a cultural monument.

The building takes its name from original owner Dominik Čipera and reflects the modern living standards of the 1940s. Interior spaces with marble floors and the curved staircase show the wealth and design taste of that era.

The building currently houses the Children's Center Zlín and is undergoing renovation until 2025. After completion, it will operate as a cultural and creative center open to visitors.

The exterior displays elevated chimneys and a hipped roof with dormers, characteristic design features of the period. The brick bonding lines that visually separate the floors are subtle architectural details that emphasize the facade's construction.
