The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary features a cruciform layout with a main nave, transept, and two side aisles with ribbed vaults.
The construction of the church occurred between 1323 and 1334 under Queen Elizabeth Richeza, following its initial foundation between 980 and 1020.
The church interior contains frescoes depicting scenes from the life of St. Norbert and the Virgin Mary, completed by artist Vilém Neuenherz in 1743.
The church welcomes visitors daily and hosts regular Catholic services, with special celebrations during major religious holidays throughout the year.
The church underwent a significant baroque renovation in the 18th century, which enhanced the interior space while preserving its Gothic structural elements.
