Church of Saint James, Beroun, Gothic Catholic church in Beroun-Centrum, Czech Republic.
The Church of Saint James stands on the western edge of Husovo Square, featuring a bell tower added to its southern section in the seventeenth century.
The church construction started in the thirteenth century and survived multiple fires and Swedish attacks before the Treaty of Westphalia was signed.
The church displays paintings from 1744 by J. P. Molitor, including depictions of Saint James the Great and Saint John of Nepomuk.
Four church bells, created in 2000 by Josef Manoušek, ring regularly and honor Czech saints Wenceslaus, Adalbert, Anežka, and Ludmila.
A plague pillar from 1680 marks the entrance, commemorating 341 residents who represented half of the town's population lost to the epidemic.
