Ředitelská vila podolské cementárny, Director's villa in Podolí, Czech Republic
The two-story villa features a prominent tower on its northern facade and marble elements from Slivenec incorporated into the main entrance design.
Built before 1897 as part of the Podolí Cement Factory complex, the villa served as the director's residence until the factory ceased operations in 1941.
The building represents the connection between industrial management and residential architecture of the late 19th century in Prague's development.
Located on Podolská Street at the foot of Kavčí Mountains, south of the swimming pool that now stands where the cement factory once operated.
The villa's foundation incorporates architecturally designed retaining walls that integrate the structure with the surrounding terrain beneath the slope.
