Before the Drn building's completion in 2017, the location served as a car park, marking a transformation in the urban landscape of Prague.
The structure connects with the traditional Schönkirchovský Palace, creating a bridge between contemporary and historical Czech architecture.
The building contains high-end office spaces, retail establishments, and restaurants, accessible through four elevators across its multiple levels.
The structure incorporates vegetation growing on its galleries, which inspired its name 'Drn,' meaning turf in the Czech language.
