Drn

Drn is a modern office building with twelve stories above ground and four levels below, featuring a distinctive glass and steel exterior in central Prague. Inside, it contains high-end office spaces, retail shops, and dining venues, served by multiple elevators throughout its different levels.

The building opened in 2017, replacing a former parking lot that had occupied the site, marking a major transformation in this part of the city. This development reflected a broader shift in the area away from vehicle storage toward modern mixed-use development.

The building stands alongside the historic Schönkirchovsky Palace, showing how modern structures coexist with older heritage in the city center. Locals notice how it has become part of the area's changing identity, blending new development with traditional surroundings.

The building is straightforward to navigate, with multiple entrances and clear signage directing visitors to office spaces, shops, and restaurants. Some areas may have restricted access, so visitors should check ahead to understand which public spaces are available to enter.

The building takes its name 'Drn' from the Czech word for turf, inspired by vegetation growing on its galleries and balconies. These green features were a deliberate design choice that sets it apart from nearby office towers.
