Kostel svatého Floriána, Historic church in Staré Lublice, Czech Republic
The Church of Saint Florian is a church building in Staré Lublice with a rectangular nave and a prismatic bell tower. The tower houses two bells cast during different time periods.
The building was constructed between 1810 and 1811, replacing an earlier chapel that once stood at the location. Written records show that the settlement of Lublice had existed since 1283.
The interior displays Rococo decoration that draws attention as you step inside. The careful craftsmanship appears in every detail of how the space was furnished.
The location sits near a water reservoir built in the mid-20th century that supplies drinking water to the surrounding region. The setting is rural and offers straightforward access for visitors.
One of the two bells was cast in the second half of the 15th century and features reliefs showing Christ on the cross. This medieval artwork ranks among the oldest still-functioning bells in the area.
