Hanzlův mlýn, Watermill ruins in Radkov, Czech Republic
The stone foundations and remaining walls of Hanzlův mlýn stand near a water stream that once powered its grinding mechanisms for grain processing.
Built in 1447, the watermill operated continuously for several centuries, serving as a vital grain processing facility for the surrounding agricultural communities.
The mill complex became a central meeting point for local farmers who gathered to process their grain and exchange agricultural knowledge and experiences.
Visitors can access the ruins through a marked path from Radkov village, with parking available at the main square 500 meters from the site.
The site contains preserved elements of the original water channel system, demonstrating medieval hydraulic engineering techniques used in Central European mills.
