Trojčata, Tower complex in Karviná, Czech Republic

Trojčata is the western group of three panel residential towers on třída 17. listopadu in Mizerov, Karviná, part of a five-building complex whose eastern pair has 13 floors each. The tallest, Heimstaden Tower, rises 58 metres over 17 floors and is Karviná's highest residential building; the group also has 13- and 15-floor towers.

Built between 1979 and 1980, these towers were constructed as part of an urban growth strategy for Karviná. The development aimed to provide housing as the city expanded and its population increased.

The towers create a vertical wall when viewed from the southeast, standing against a backdrop of three-story residential houses from the First Republic period.

The towers are easily accessible by foot from the main street and can be viewed from multiple angles. Walking around the area gives a clear sense of how the buildings relate to the older houses in the neighborhood.

The tallest of the three towers, Heimstaden Tower, has 17 floors and reaches 58 metres, making it the highest residential building in Karviná. Because the street bends left and slopes down towards the centre, this tallest tower is the first one seen when approaching from the centre, which makes the group look even higher.
