Church of Saint Lawrence, Medieval church in Těrlicko, Czech Republic
The Church of Saint Lawrence features three prominent towers, with side towers reaching 24.5 meters and a central tower measuring 22.7 meters in height.
The religious building underwent a significant Baroque restoration in the mid-1700s, designed by Kilian Ignaz Dienzenhofer and constructed by the Palliardi family.
The interior contains an altarpiece depicting the Martyrdom of Saint Lawrence, painted by J.C. Monnoto, alongside sculptures created by J. Lederer.
Following its closure between 1784 and 1840, the church reopened for religious services and has been leased to the Old Catholic Church since 1994.
The church structure stands on the foundation of a Romanesque building from the 10th century, preserving centuries of architectural evolution at this location.
