The Prameny U korýtka spring box emerges from a stone wall through a pipe and flows into a trapezoidal drainage channel at 235 meters altitude.
During the First Czechoslovak Republic period, a popular excursion restaurant operated near the spring box, making it a destination for local gatherings.
The spring carries water from Ondřejník hill and received its name from the artificial riverbed of the Oder River and the trough shape beneath the well.
The spring box location is accessible by foot from the road near Petruškova Street parking lot in the Zábřeh forest park section of Ostrava.
