Dick's Classic Garage

Dick's Classic Garage is an automobile museum in San Marcos that focuses on American cars from the 1930s through the 1950s. The collection displays carefully selected vehicles that represent different phases of automotive development during this era.

The museum was established in 2009 after the collection was relocated from the Central Texas Museum of Automotive History in Rosanky. This move brought a long-maintained vehicle collection to its current location.

The collection represented American automotive manufacturing excellence through carefully selected models that demonstrated technological advancement across different eras.

The museum has workshop areas where mechanics maintain the cars and demonstrate their work to visitors. You can watch how these classic vehicles are cared for and preserved on site.

The collection includes a 1948 Tucker Sedan with only 0.4 miles on its odometer. This is one of the least-driven Tucker automobiles still in existence.
