Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art

The Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art contains 500 artworks spread across 12 galleries within a 22,000-square-foot exhibition building in New Mexico.

The museum emerged from the Roswell Artist-in-Residence program, established in 1967 by Donald B. Anderson, an oil industry executive turned painter and art collector.

The museum exhibits photographs, paintings, prints, drawings, and sculptures created by former fellows of the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program over four decades.

Located at 409 E. College Boulevard, the museum opens Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM and weekends from 1 PM to 5 PM.

The museum houses a Bösendorfer concert grand piano and serves as a venue for meetings, receptions, art activities, and musical performances throughout the year.
