The Train Collectors Association operates the National Toy Train Museum at 300 Paradise Lane in Strasburg, Pennsylvania. Its displays draw on more than 300 manufacturers, from Lionel, Ives and Marx to Bing and Bassett-Lowke, and cover gauges from Z and N to Standard Gauge and 2 gauge. Members run trains on large operating layouts.

The association was founded in 1954 starting in Yardley, Pennsylvania, before moving to its current location in Strasburg. The relocation allowed for larger exhibition space and better preservation of the growing collections.

TCA publishes the Train Collector Quarterly, the National Headquarters News and the online e*Train. Its Eastern Division runs the York Train Meet twice a year, in April and October, with 2,000 tables of trains and large operating layouts, open to members and their guests.

The National Toy Train Museum and Library sit at 300 Paradise Lane in Strasburg. Most TCA chapter shows are open to the public and often include train doctors who repair trains on site.
