Boeing Creek and Shoreview Park, Urban park with creek in Shoreline, US

Boeing Creek and Shoreview Park is an urban park in Shoreline featuring forested land, sports facilities, and a creek running through its center. The grounds contain tennis courts, baseball fields, soccer areas, an off-leash dog zone, and a network of walking trails for visitors of different ability levels.

The site originated as part of William Boeing's estate after he built a mansion near the creek in 1913. The land later became a public park to serve the community and preserve the natural areas.

The name Boeing Creek comes from William Boeing, who built a mansion in The Highlands in 1913 and used the surrounding land as a hunting retreat. He donated the land that became Shoreview Park to the Shoreline School District, and the city of Shoreline took over both parks in 1997.

The two parks share an internal border and both adjoin Shoreline Community College, so the grounds can be entered from more than one side. The upper stretch of Boeing Creek runs along the western edge of both parks. In 2023 the city removed the Hidden Lake dam and began trail improvements around the former lake site, with remaining work pushed to 2026, so some paths may be under construction.

Hidden Lake no longer exists: in 2023 Shoreline removed Boeing's dam because sediment buildup was hard to manage, restoring the old stream and improving fish habitat downstream. Trail improvements around the former lake site were planned for completion in 2024 but pushed to 2026.
