Donald Grant Herring Estate, Tudor Revival villa in Princeton, United States

The Donald Grant Herring Estate features steep gable roofs, decorative half-timbering, and handcrafted details across its three remaining properties on Arreton Road.

Wilson Eyre Jr designed this estate in 1919 for Donald Herring, a Princeton University faculty member, initially spanning 117 acres before subdivision in 1949.

The estate represents the Arts and Crafts movement in Central New Jersey through its emphasis on local materials and traditional construction methods.

The property, listed at $3.8 million in 2016, comprises three separate addresses at 52, 72, and 75-77 Arreton Road in Princeton.

This residential complex stands as the final remaining estate from Princeton's earlier period when large properties encircled the university town.
