The property comprises three separate structures positioned along Arreton Road with handcrafted architectural elements throughout.

The property was designed in 1919 by architect Wilson Eyre Jr. for a Princeton University faculty member. The original large estate was subdivided in the following decades, yet it remains one of the few surviving examples from that era.
