Maybury Hill, Georgian house in Princeton, US.

Maybury Hill stands at 346 Snowden Lane with a 2.5-story masonry structure, featuring fieldstone walls, gabled roof, and brick chimneys at each end.

The residence, constructed in 1725, served as the birthplace and childhood home of Joseph Hewes, who later signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

The interior preserves original Georgian elements including exposed wooden beams, detailed paneling, and a central hall plan with a full-depth parlor.

The property holds three major designations: National Historic Landmark status, National Register of Historic Places listing, and New Jersey Register of Historic Places recognition.

After experiencing fire damage, the house underwent reconstruction in 1735, followed by the addition of an ell connecting the main structure to the kitchen by 1753.
