The Premier Rides-manufactured coaster launches riders from 0 to 62 mph through a magnetic system along its 863-foot track length.
Introduced in 2015, Tempesto marked a significant expansion of Busch Gardens Williamsburg's thrill rides collection, adding a new acceleration-based experience.
The attraction stands in the Italian-themed section of the park, representing the speed and precision of Italian engineering and design.
Riders must be at least 54 inches tall to experience the coaster, which features lap bar restraints and operates throughout regular park hours.
The roller coaster performs three launches during each cycle, including one backward acceleration before reaching its maximum height of 151 feet.
