The East Plano Islamic Center is a mosque in Plano, Texas, whose current building opened in July 2015. It has a broad, low beige facade with rows of tall, narrow arched windows, a large dark central dome above a drum of small arched windows, and two slender minaret-like towers with small domes at the outer edges. Rectangular glass doors and windows sit below the main facade.

The center started in 2003 with small gatherings in garages before relocating several times and opening its current building in 2015. This growth reflects how the congregation expanded over more than a decade in the region.

The center serves as a gathering space for the community to worship and study together, with dedicated programs for families and children. Arabic language and religious texts are taught here, reflecting how education is central to the congregation's life.

The prayer areas are closed to visitors during active services, so plan to arrive between prayers. The building sits behind a parking area off the main road, with the entrance below the dome. Modest dress is expected, and shoes are removed before entering the prayer hall.

The center implemented strict safety measures during the 2020-2021 pandemic, partly because many medical professionals are members of the congregation. This experience shaped how the community handles difficult situations.
