Ponderosa Skatepark

Ponderosa Skatepark is a skating facility in Bend featuring a half-pipe, quarter-pipes, grind rails, ledges, and various ramps. The design offers sections suitable for riders at different skill levels across its skating surface.

The park was built in 1997 and underwent a complete redesign by Spohn Ranch in partnership with PUSH of Oregon. The renovation improved the original design to better serve the local skating community.

The park serves as a gathering place for local skaters of all skill levels, where the community gathers to practice and socialize together.

The park is open daily and visitors should wear appropriate protective gear including helmets. Weather conditions can affect riding surfaces, so checking conditions beforehand is helpful.

The park features a skateable rock sculpture and incorporates elevated terrain features designed around the bedrock beneath the site. This creative approach to working with the natural geology makes it distinct from typical skateparks.
