Washington Park is a 13-building public park on Lake Michigan in Michigan City, Indiana, established in 1891. It contains the Michigan City Zoo, a 1936 four-story observation tower, a 1911 bandstand, and a 1896 Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument. The Works Progress Administration added a log picnic shelter and tennis court in the 1930s.

Washington Park was established in 1891 as a public park on Lake Michigan. During the 1930s, the Works Progress Administration and its predecessors developed it further, adding structures such as the log picnic shelter (c. 1936) and the four-story observation tower (1936). It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

The park's Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument dates from 1896, and a World War I doughboy monument was added in 1926. The 1911 bandstand has long been the setting for outdoor concerts, and the Michigan City Zoo, located inside the park, remains a family draw.

The park runs along Lake Michigan, so the beach and the four-story observation tower are reached from the same grounds as the zoo and the picnic shelter. The tower dates from 1936 and gives a view over the lake and the city. Winter wind off the water makes warm clothing necessary outside summer.

The park holds 13 contributing buildings, three contributing sites, 11 contributing structures and 21 contributing objects, and it contains the Michigan City Zoo. Its four-story observation tower dates from 1936, built during the 1930s work by the Works Progress Administration and its predecessors.
