Built in 1927 by Leo Post and architect Fred Mertz, this Mediterranean Revival style structure served as the sales office for Beverly Shores development.
The building demonstrates early 20th century real estate development trends along Lake Michigan's shoreline, where seasonal properties attracted Chicago residents.
Located at 500 South Broadway, the structure now functions as Beverly Shores Administration Building, containing municipal offices and town council meeting spaces.
The interior preserves original features including pressed metal ceilings and a Murphy bed from when a caretaker lived in the rear section.
