Eye Benches I, II and III, Public art installation at Olympic Sculpture Park, Seattle, United States.
The Eye Benches comprise three sets of two black Zimbabwe granite seats, each designed to resemble large observant eyes in abstract forms.
Artist Louise Bourgeois created these sculptural benches between 1996 and 1997, which were later installed in 2006 as her gift to the park.
The sculptures merge functional seating with artistic expression, reflecting Bourgeois's exploration of perception and human understanding through visual elements.
Visitors can rest on these benches while taking in views of the surrounding park environment and other contemporary art installations.
Each granite bench set features distinct variations in scale and form, creating different perspectives for viewers who interact with the installation.
