777 Main Street, Historic skyscraper in downtown Hartford, United States
The 26-story building at 777 Main Street reaches a height of 354 feet and features approximately 2000 precast window modules across its concrete and steel structure.
Originally constructed in 1967 as the Hartford National Bank and Trust Building, this structure became part of the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.
The building represents Hartford's mid-century modern architecture movement and stands as a symbol of the city's urban development during the 1960s.
Following an $85 million renovation, the building now contains 285 residential units, with twenty percent designated for low and moderate-income households.
The structure generates its own power through 336 rooftop solar panels and a 400-kilowatt fuel cell, earning LEED Platinum certification for environmental sustainability.
