Arena of Stars, Concert hall in Bentong, Malaysia

Arena of Stars is a 45,000 sq ft indoor amphitheatre at Genting Highlands, Pahang, with about 5,132 seats. Its wide, low facade is edged in blue, topped by four teal fins, and crossed by a band of grey louvers; two large pink, magenta and green panels with concentric oval patterns flank the metal letters ARENA OF STARS above recessed glass entrance doors.

Arena of Stars opened in January 1998 with a concert by Sally Yeh and George Lam. It was originally built without a roof, but Genting Highlands' severe weather led management to add one. In 2002 it hosted the 3rd IIFA Awards, honouring Bollywood professionals, and in 2007 the Zee Cine Awards, for which the make-up rooms were upgraded.

The arena hosts the biennial Genting World Lion Dance Championship, a competition recognised as one of the sport's highest levels. Its name appears in large metal letters across the facade, above panels of pink, magenta and green concentric ovals. Seating is split into five colour-coded tiers, white the most expensive, then red, green, yellow and blue.

Arena of Stars sits inside the Resorts World Genting complex in Genting Highlands, Pahang, and all its events are run by the resort's Promotions and Entertainment Department. Seating is split into five price categories, marked white, red, green, yellow and blue, with white the most expensive and blue the cheapest. Check the category on your ticket before choosing a seat.

The venue hosts the biennial Genting World Lion Dance Championship, described in the sources as one of the highest-level lion dance competitions in the world. Its stage has also drawn Deep Purple, Elton John, Lionel Richie and Olivia Newton-John.
