TPC Kuala Lumpur, Golf course and country club in Mont Kiara, Malaysia
TPC Kuala Lumpur is a golf and country club in the Mont Kiara area, with two championship courses that each offer a different playing experience. The grounds also include a driving range, practice areas, a pro shop, dining options, and club rooms for members and guests.
The club opened in 1991 as the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club, making it one of the first of its kind in the area. In 2016 it joined the global TPC network, a move that brought major renovations and a new identity for the venue.
The club draws golfers from across Southeast Asia and beyond, giving it a noticeably international feel on any given day. English is widely spoken on the course and in the clubhouse, which makes it easy for foreign visitors to get around.
The club sits in Mont Kiara, a residential area north of central Kuala Lumpur, and is best reached by car or taxi. Access for non-members is restricted, so it is worth checking in advance whether you can play as a guest or under any other arrangement.
The West Course is one of the few courses in Southeast Asia to have hosted both a PGA Tour and an LPGA event in the same year, which happened in 2016. This makes it one of the most versatile professional venues in the region.
