West Port, Malaysia, Maritime port in Port Klang, Malaysia

West Port is a multi-cargo seaport on Pulau Indah, Port Klang, with a 3.2 km quay and five container terminals. Its 1,350-acre site includes 280 acres of container yards, a 200,000 sq ft Container Freight Station, Distriparks 1 and 2, and bulk warehouses. The facility opened in 1995 as part of Port Klang's expansion to handle growing maritime traffic. It has since become the region's leading container port.

Cruise ships berth here several times a year, and during shows aboard, visitors are allowed in free of charge. The SuperStar Virgo called in 2006, and the MV Doulos also anchored at the terminal. The port is run by Westports Malaysia Sdn Bhd, whose CEO is Ruben Gnanalingam.

The port area is visible from land, though direct access to working areas is usually restricted. The best time to observe activity is during daytime working hours.

The port handles vessels from over 100 countries, making it a central hub for global supply chains in Southeast Asia. Ships passing through here connect Malaysia directly to trading partners worldwide.
