Sri Sunderaraja Perumal Temple, Hindu temple in Klang, Malaysia
Sri Sunderaraja Perumal Temple features traditional South Indian Dravidian architecture with detailed carvings and tall gateway towers called gopurams displaying numerous deity sculptures.
The temple, established in 1892 and reconstructed in 2015, holds the distinction of being the first granite temple constructed in Malaysia.
The temple conducts major Hindu festivals including Vaikunta Ekadasi, Panguni Uthiram, and Thiruvadirai, which involve processions, music, and traditional offerings.
Visitors can explore the temple complex to see the Perumal Sannathi central shrine, surrounding smaller gopurams, and various deity sanctums dedicated to Shiva and Navagrahas.
The temple earned recognition as the Thirupathi of South East Asia due to its architectural and spiritual connection to the famous Thirupati temple in India.
