I-City

i-City is an entertainment complex in Shah Alam combining theme parks, digital attractions and shopping centers across roughly 29 hectares (72 acres). Millions of LED lights illuminate trees and structures throughout the grounds, creating colored light landscapes in the evening.

The site began in 2005 as a technology center and received recognition from MSC Malaysia as a cyber hub. The complex transformed over the years from a business district into a leisure park with light installations.

The complex draws its name from its emphasis on digital media and LED installations marketed as the City of Digital Lights. Visitors experience a modern Asian interpretation of leisure entertainment with wax figure galleries and technology exhibitions.

A combined ticket grants access to several attractions like Waterworld and Snow Walk. The snow hall maintains a constant minus 5 degrees Celsius, so warm clothing is recommended for this section.

The snow section creates a winter environment in tropical climate with below-freezing temperatures. This artificial cooling facility enables snow experiences just a few kilometers from the equator.
