Address Downtown

Address Downtown is a residential and hotel tower in the city center of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, rising 302 meters across 64 floors. Its vertical layout provides views of the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain, while the base connects directly to the city's public transport network.

The tower was completed in 2008 following a design by the Atkins firm, which shaped the facade in an Art Deco style. A fire in 2015 led to major work on safety systems and building equipment, interrupting operations for several months.

Families from the Middle East and Asia live alongside business travelers who stay for short periods. The design follows Gulf customs by providing shared spaces and separate entrances for different groups, connecting local hospitality with the needs of international guests.

The link to The Dubai Mall metro station makes it easy to reach the tower and nearby attractions. Separate entrances for hotel guests and residents help with quick orientation on the ground floor, where signs also show the nearest stops.

On New Year's Eve 2015, rescue teams evacuated more than a thousand people as flames climbed the outer facade. This event prompted builders worldwide to review their fire protection measures and introduce new rules for material safety.
