Baba Hatim Ziyarat

The mausoleum underwent extensive restoration work from 1978 to 1979 by French and Afghan archaeological teams who rebuilt missing sections and stabilized the structure.

The mausoleum functions as a religious pilgrimage location where people from surrounding communities gather to perform traditional ceremonies and rituals.

The structure stands at coordinates 36°39'0"N latitude and 66°30'0"E longitude, near the border between Afghanistan and Tajikistan.

The restoration team reconstructed both circular and octagonal drum sections of the dome, finishing the structure with a metal finial at its peak.
