Pyramid of Tirana, Arts center in central Tirana, Albania
The Pyramid of Tirana features concrete and glass construction with a triangular shape rising from a square base in the heart of the capital.
Built in 1988 as a museum dedicated to former ruler Enver Hoxha, the structure served as a NATO base during the 1999 Kosovo conflict.
The building transformed from a communist memorial into a contemporary technology hub, reflecting the evolution of Albanian society through different periods.
Visitors can climb the external stairs to reach the observation platform, offering views across the city center and surrounding urban landscape.
The renovation added 34 colorful cube-shaped spaces around the main structure, creating areas for programming classes, robotics workshops, and digital education.
