Rinia Park, Public park in central Tirana, Albania
The 2.98-hectare green space features walking paths, seating areas, and a white terraced building complex housing restaurants and entertainment venues.
Established in 1950 during Albania's communist era, the park underwent a major transformation in 2000 with the removal of 130 illegal structures.
The park holds the annual Summer Festival on March 14, including circus performances, acrobatics, and entertainment events celebrating the arrival of spring.
Located 500 meters from Skanderbeg Square, the park is bordered by major boulevards and connects visitors to multiple city attractions.
The park earned the nickname 'Taiwan' during a period when Albania recognized Taiwan's sovereignty, leading to the construction of the Taiwan complex.
